you just need to break away and do something adventurous and fun, and you
can at the Alabama Adventure Park in Bessemer. Located at 4599 Alabama
Adventure Pkwy in Bessemer, near Birmingham. Alabama Adventure has two parks
with over 50 acres of rides, shows and attractions. Don't forget to bring
along the sunscreen and your bathing suit, and head over to Splash Beach
Water Park at Alabama Adventure. With a cool, refreshing water park, and all
the rides, slides, shows at Alabama Adventure you're family will have a
blast!
Spring is a great time to visit Alabama Adventure, when they celebrate the kick off of the season with Spring Spin: One Good Turn To Benefit Another™, a program designed to help local nonprofits raise additional funds for their organizations. Just as these organizations will benefit from this event, so will guests who can enjoy great prices on tickets for the season. These special event tickets are good for certain dates in April so check the park's website for current rates and specials.
The Spring Spin is just the beginning of a exciting year at Alabama Adventure. For a really thrill try UpSurge at the Splash Beach Water Park. If you dare, climb up the 47-foot tower and get ready to drop down the 216 feet of flume slide through dark twists and turns before plummeting into a vertical half-pipe and back out into 25,000 gallons of refreshing water.
Young children will love Marvel Mania, a miniature steel roller coaster and the Barnstormer, a authentic reproduction of World War I biplanes that soar into the air as kids take control of the lifting handle located in each car. Or, try the Marvel City Speedway with the young ones that is a fast-paced attraction, offering fun for the entire family. With a season full of concert and special events like the Fiesta Aventura, Blues Brews & BBQ and the July 4th Fireworks Spectacular” everyone will enjoy a day out at Alabama Adventure and Splash Beach Water Park.
