Travel Back In Time At The Lincoln
Cabin
Springfield
is also home to the Lincoln Cabin, a replica of the log house in which the
President's grandmother raised her children. The cabin sits upon the exact
spot as the original, and it was here that Thomas Lincoln, father of the
President, lived until he was 25 years of age. The pioneer furnishing within
the cabin, along with several pieces crafted by Thomas Lincoln give visitors
the feeling of stepping back in time to a much simpler life.
