No worries though, Kings Island also has plenty of friendly fun for everyone at the Annual Halloween Haunt. Families can enjoy the hayrides, pumpkin patches, and kid-friendly mazes by day. Parents be warned, the Halloween Haunt at Kings Island may be rather frightening for the little goblins because it features extreme graphic scenes, suggestive themes, intense imagery.

This annual event that runs through Late October has plenty of surprises waiting around every corner. From the moment the gates open you come face to face with creepy monsters who have risen with one goal in mind; to frighten the living. This year Kings Island has created all new highly intense and terrifying attractions, plus, you get to stay longer during this haunting event; 7 p.m. until 1 a.m. every Friday and Saturday night until Late October. Are you brave enough to face your fears at this thrilling FearFest™? Or will you run away screaming like so many who went before us?

One of the highlights are our evening was the Scary Circus that had plenty of ghoulish clowns lurking around every corner. Some how I always ended up at the front of the line. I screamed, then laughed, and screamed again when the next monster popped out around the corner. From creepy clowns to hideous pirates, and creatures I cannot describe that lurked in the corn field, we faced monsters of every shape and size.

All is not lost, there are plenty of places to hide, although keep an eye out because you never know when something might sneak up behind you. This happened to us more than once. As you sneak around Kings Island you'll discover the remains of a assortment of ghouls for your viewing pleasure. I don't want to give anything away, but think of your favorite scary movie, and imagine walking onto the movie lot; this is part of the fun waiting for you at the Annual Halloween Haunt. In between being scared out of our skin we did manage to enjoy some of our favorite rides, play a few games of chance, and grab a bite to eat.
