Traveling to Minnesota we found the Mall of America,
which opened in August of 1992 and is located in Bloomington, Minn.,
just minutes from downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul.
It is HUGE! Yes, we did venture in to see what it was all about.

Getting Around The City Of Minneapolis The new light-rail Hiawatha Line makes it quick and easy for visitors to get to several key sites in the Twin Cities, including downtown Minneapolis, the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and Mall of America in Bloomington. In December a New Light Rail Line will extend to Airport, and the Mall of America. This is a great way for travelers to get around Minneapolis and see the sites! The regular fare is $1.25, and rush hour fare is $1.75.
