With Amangani’s new Wildlife Experience you can go on safari without a
passport. The Amangani’s new Wildlife Experience takes you on a nature
safari through some of the West’s most glorious scenery, introduces guests
to the array of wildlife that runs free in the Greater Yellowstone
Ecosystem. More than 300 species of birds (bald eagles, mountain bluebirds,
trumpeter swans and sand hill cranes among them) and big game, such as
moose, elk, bison, wolves and bears, come into view with the help of an
experienced guide.
The Amangani is the first Aman resort in North America, and offers
40-suites in the resort setting that clings to the western edge of East Gros
Ventre Butte, some 7,000 feet above sea level and high above the town of
Jackson. The Amangani is only a 20-minute drive from the Jackson Hole
Airport, which is located within the southern boundary of Grand Teton
National Park.

Located on the edge of Grand Teton National Park and just 60 miles from
Yellowstone National Park, the Amangani is the perfect destination for a
getaway. All of the suites enjoy mountain and valley views. A deep soaking
tub with a window view highlights the large bathroom/dressing area and the
twin vanities and shower room are trimmed in slate. Double dressing areas
include a full-length mirror, as well as drawers, shelves and open closet
space for two. Even the floor is of clear-heart redwood, carrying out the
natural and uncontrived message of the resort.
Additional resort amenities include The Grill for inventive American
cuisine, a dramatic lobby lounge with a floor-to-ceiling window wall
offering dramatic views of the Snake River range, a heated outdoor swimming
pool and whirlpool and a spa with a range of massages and services.
Add in the Wildlife Experience that includes four nights in one of
Amangani’s Superior Suites, continental breakfast each morning, airport
transfers, a full-day guided expedition through the Jackson Hole Valley and
onward to Yellowstone National Park (maximum four participants per vehicle)
and you’ve got a memorable getaway!
