Fall Festivals And Events To Join In Kansas City
Kansas City offers many Fall events and festivals that include
entertainment, great food, and activities to enjoy. Among these events is the Tour of Missouri, in which the world's top
women cyclists gather for the seven-day, 600-mile men’s professional cycling
race across the Show-Me State has added new terrain, new host cities, and a
women’s professional cycling race to the Kansas City circuit.
Also, at the end of September join the Kansas City Oktoberfest that features German entertainment, food and of course, beer. Stick around on the weekend for the Annual American Royal Parade. What started as a single-tent livestock show in 1899 has become one of the city’s most popular traditions. The American Royal is an eight-week festival of rodeos, livestock shows, big-name country concerts and other family entertainment.
When was the last time you visited with royalty or danced with a jester? Okay, maybe you know a few jester's, but a visit with royalty is probably rare. From Late-August - Mid-October you and your friends and family can join the festive celebrations of days gone by at the Annual Kansas City Renaissance Festival.
Held on the weekends, The Kansas City Renaissance Festival features a 16th-century English marketplace that comes to life for seven weekends amid a beautiful wooded setting. Entertainment at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival includes fair damsels, jousting knights, sorcerers, artisans, craftsmen, dancers, musicians, jesters and royalty dressed in authentic and colorful costumes.
