It’s rare for us to fly to our vacation destination. We prefer to pack the car and hit the road where we can explore America’s backyard. On the way back home to Indiana from our vacation in Florida we decided to break up our 15 hour drive and stop over outside of Atlanta. We were surprised when we arrived at the beautiful Marriott Evergreen Hotel Conference Center and Spa Resort tucked within Georgia’s magnificent Stone Mountain Park. Not only are the grounds and setting relaxing, the staff are on-hand to greet you and make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive, which is wonderful when you are a bit worn out from the road.

We arrived in the midst of preparations for a large wedding and a high school reunion. Laughter and cheerful greetings echoed throughout the elegant lobby which has a Starbuck’s, a unique gift shop, and local information available for guests.
