Montgomery's newest entertainment district is The Alley that offers dining, music and great entertainment. The Alley is already a lively place to hang with friends and family, and as renovations continue and new businesses move in, The Alley will become a popular destination for all. If you're searching for a great place for a drink and music visit The Alley Bar, a upscale bar with a casual and inviting atmosphere. Mike Watson, CEO and President of 2WR / HolmesWilkins Architects Inc. is the owner of Alley BAR, who we had a chance to visit with during our trip. He said he wanted to create a chic place where everyone was welcome and could enjoy local music and a drink with their friends; he's accomplished this and more with The Alley Bar!
Montgomery may be small compared to bigger cities like New York and Los Angeles, but The Alley Bar is as hip as any club you'll find in either city. Think of the hottest clubs on the East or West coast, and then take away the brutal traffic and congestion, and you have The Alley Bar. It's a place where you can meet up with friends after a baseball game at Riverwalk Stadium, or a conference at the Renaissance Convention Center and enjoy a sampling of good ol' Southern hospitality mixed with a thriving night life.
While at
The Alley Bar be sure to check out the cool, 32 degree enclosed shot room, where
you can slip into a fur coat and sample a creative mix of shots and imported
liquors served from ice shot glasses. Yes, the shot glasses are made of ice! Be
careful to get a good grip on your icy glass because it will slip out of your
fingers. The shot room is a fun and crazy spot, and we had a blast trying out
the different combinations of shots. The
Alley Bar also offers numerous specialty beers on tap, and plans to carry a
large selection of Belgian and other high gravity Beers. The unique menu choices
will give you a chance to savor
sandwiches, paninis, cheese trays, and much more.
Say hi to Mike when you drop in, and rock the night away with friends at The Alley Bar!
