Seattle Aquarium is
one of the best
Aquarium's we've ever
seen. Here is just a
sample picture of the
fish and coral in a
water tank. Seattle
Aquarium's renovated
space on Pier 59
features the new Window
on Washington Waters
exhibit. This 120,000
gallon exhibit with a
19’ x 39’ window
dramatically showcases
hundreds of local fish
and invertebrates in a
scene replicated from
the rocky underwater
cliffs of Neah Bay.
Twice a day, divers
with specialized masks
that allow them to talk
to the visitors enter
the waters and tell
visitors about the
environment and the
wonderful creatures who
live in the depths.
Window on Washington
Waters is housed in the
new Puget Sound Great
Hall with a soaring
ceiling and wonderful
timber trusses. Other
features of the Seattle
Aquarium's renovations
include a crashing wave
exhibit, café on the
mezzanine level, a new
entrance to the Aquarium
on Alaskan Way, plus an
expanded gift shop.

The
first Sunday of each
month is a great time
for families to visit
the Seattle Aquarium for
a day full of special
activities that include
exciting craft projects
for kids. Craft
activities will take
place from 11am to 3pm,
and are free with
Aquarium admission, no
registration for these
events are needed.
The
Seattle Aquarium also
has special summer camps
for kids age 7 to 15.
During camp kids can
explore Puget Sound and
participate in
activities such as beach
field trips, hands-on
activities with animals,
art projects and more.
With a exciting variety
of camps available
you’re sure to find the
right camp program to
suit your child’s
interest. Weeklong
sessions also offered in
July and August.
