Executive producers David Lee, Peter Casey and David Angell chose the Century House as their B&B when first visiting the island in 1989 to scout locations. In the following years, scenes of the inn have often been featured on the show, and the innkeepers were invited to watch a taping as well as step in as extras in a September, 1994 episode.
