Kittery Point at the southern tip to the town of Robbinston bordering Canada at the Bay of Fundy. Wildlife in Maine is noted for its Moose, Bear and a bird called the Loon. Its not everyday you see a bear or moose crossing in front of you as you drive down a road or you hear in a distance a wild bird called the Loon calling out in a quiet unique and distinctive sound. A great way to see the wildlife and beautiful coastlines of Maine is by visiting Maine's State and National Parks.
National Park of Acadia
Maine is the home of the well known
National Park of Acadia. The park is located on Mount Desert Island on the Atlantic Ocean along with the well known small coastal harbor town of Bar Harbor.
After you’ve entered the Park you can enjoy breathtaking scenic views all the way to the top of
Cadillac Mountain.
Once you have reached the top you can enjoy the spectacular views of Bar Harbor
the Atlantic Ocean and Frenchman's Bay. Other areas of the park have trails and
places to picnic or you can overlook the cliffs where the Atlantic splashes
into the them, making it a magnificent sight to see. With Bar Harbor being
adjacent to the park there is still a lot to do.
Set Sail to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia
Canada

When you get ready to set sails, you really do get to set up the sails. And at the end of the excursion you can help lower the sails too. If sailing isn’t for you there are excursions that take you out into the Atlantic to enjoy a day of watching whales along with other sea animals. Or you can take a day trip on the Catamaran Ferry over to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia Canada. Bar Harbor is one of the only two places in Maine that provide a ferry service to Nova Scotia Canada. From Bar Harbor it is a 3 hour ride with plenty to do on board.
Harbor Fest
There are movies, restaurants and
if you want… you can play the slot machines with plenty of those to choose
from.

A Celebration Of Small Town America
During the Lisbon Falls’ annual Moxie Festival in Maine visitors gathered to watch the Moxie Horse Mobile make its way down the parade route. This unique site represents one of the many unique promotional campaigns that made Moxie America’s most popular soft drink in the early 1900’s. The Moxie Festival is the only festival known to be centered around a soda in the world. Organizers say the festival has come to be a celebration of small town America.
