Dining At The Harvest Restaurant
Located in the “Pheasant Run Resort and Spa”,
Harvest Restaurant is the resorts newest restaurant. Harvest has a nice
relaxed atmosphere of warmth and elegance that serves a delicious unique
blend of Midwest tradition with innovative cuisine.
The décor is
unique with elegant table settings, lit table top lanterns, leather seating,
bar chairs uniquely covered by cow hides, beautiful oak woodwork throughout,
stone hearth style interior walls, warm touches of color and a unique style
of carpeting with remnants of wheat stalks and sunshine that reminds one of
when its time for Harvest.
Harvest Restaurant delivers first class,
personalized service with a top-notch wait staff. And the food is
exceptional with its seasonal dishes created by chef Josef Yurisich that are
inspired by fresh ingredients from local markets. The Grilled Asian Shrimp
is one of the seasonal dishes that I highly recommend. The Shrimp is
marinated with fresh ginger, garlic and soy-complimented with a roasted
summer snap bean, mango salsa on top of a bed of Asian noodles. This dish is
a light summer flavor that is unique and the combination is perfect!
Chef Josef also has a fabulous creation of fresh seafood dishes that are
delicious. The Asiago Crusted Grouper was created for a seasonal dish, and
did so well it is now on the menu year round. This dish is unbelievably
good! Its sets on a bed of Grilled Artichokes, Portobello Mushrooms and
Grilled Asparagus with Mashed Potatoes garnished with Caramelized Onions in
a Cabernet Red Wine Reduction.
Another favorite from the Game
selection menu is the Roasted Rack of Lamb. You’ll love the tenderness and
flavor of these three Grilled Double Cut Colorado Lamb Chops, crusted with a
Mélange of Peppercorns glazed with a Pinot Noir Balsamic Reduction, served
with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and garnished with Cucumber Mint Relish.
And the deserts are to die for. With so many to choose from - I loved the
Tarimisu! Created with a creamy texture and a fabulous flavor and a slight
hint of cinnamon made it very tasty. YUM! And we can’t forget the incredible
wine list. The Harvest wine list includes outstanding vintages from Napa and
Sonoma, and unique selections from regional wineries to make that perfect
dinner complete.
Harvest also offers great weekend dinner buffets, an
extravagant Sunday brunch, Daybreak Favorites and other fabulous and
distinctive dining creations and entertainment every time of the day or
night.
