Happy Hour Week
-
What happens when Orange
County restaurants, bars, breweries, pubs and eateries join together; you
have a week of food, drinks and fun known as Happy Hour Week!
Offering prix fixe happy hour menus, Happy Hour Week is not just for an
evening outing; it takes place all day throughout the week. This means
whether you're looking for a casual place to dine for lunch or dinner, there
will be plenty of choices to enjoy, so you can try something different each
day. This year, Happy Hour Week runs from October 24th - 30th.
Happy Hour Week is a festive event for everyone over 21. For the
designated drivers and those who prefer not to drink there will be plenty of
Mocktails to sample as well. From dive bars to wine tasting on the coast,
you'll find each of the participating restaurants, bars, breweries, pubs and
eateries offering something tempting to savor as well as great
entertainment. And, you can be certain that the Mixologists behind the bars
with stir up some fun new drinks to try.
The Orange County Restaurant Week is one of
the most anticipated culinary events of the season. And, this year, more
than 100 restaurants will unite to offer tasty Fall flavors. The Orange
County Restaurant Week starts at the Prego Ristorante in Irvine with a
Kick-Off Party in Late September. During the vent you'll have the
opportunity to taste the many flavors of Prego, that is celebrating its 25th
anniversary.
“With more than 100 restaurants participating in the past, we know that
the selections will be varied for every taste and budget so that those
interested may take advantage of amazing deals at the best restaurants in OC
and maybe even try new restaurants,” Pamela Waitt, president of the OC
Restaurant Association.
The highlight of the Orange County Restaurant Week for Foodies are the
savory special three-course menus offered at the participating restaurants.
The event gives the talented chefs at these restaurants the freedom and
flexibility to showcase their favorite dishes, which reflect their culinary
style. Participating restaurants will offer prix-fixe menus within three
price categories: lunch for $10, $15 or $20, and dinner for $20, $30 or $40.
Many of these restaurants add a cocktail or signature item at no additional
charge.
“Now in our second year with our fourth event, we welcome new additions
to our vast dining landscape with Canyon Restaurant, Raya at The Ritz
Carlton, The Lido Deck, Seasons 52, The Catch, and many more. Of course, we
are excited to see the return of OC favorites such as The Winery Restaurant
& Wine Bar, Palm Terrace, SOL Cocina, Catal, LUCCA and Splashes, as well as
hundreds of others,” commented Pamela.
